Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBRL) reported mixed fourth-quarter results, with revenue topping expectations but earnings falling short, while issuing weaker-than-expected guidance for fiscal 2026.
The company posted adjusted earnings of $0.74 per share, missing Wall Street's estimate of $0.76. Revenue rose to $868 million, ahead of the $853.96 million consensus. Comparable store restaurant sales grew 5.4% year-over-year, while retail sales slipped 0.8%.
Adjusted EBITDA declined 2.9% from the prior year to $55.7 million. However, excluding the impact of the 53rd week in fiscal 2024, adjusted EBITDA increased 8.0%.
For fiscal 2025, Cracker Barrel reported revenue of $3.48 billion, up 0.4% year-over-year, while adjusted EPS fell to $3.16 from $3.52 a year earlier.
Looking ahead, the company projected fiscal 2026 revenue of $3.35 billion to $3.45 billion, below expectations of $3.52 billion, and forecast same-store traffic declines of 4% to 7%.
